My take on a reworked pip system.

I want know what the DBD community thinks of my idea of a new pipping system.

We all know that when we get to the higher ranks we actually need to do more in order to get a pip.

If you are unlucky and you get tunneled 4 - 5 games in a row, maybe someone kills themself on hook and throws the game.

No matter what happens you lose your pips 1 by 1 and sometimes it can demotivate you for playing the game.

What would you think about a pip filling up system in order to get pips instead of hoping the match will go a bit how it should be. (Only base bloodpoints)

Now im gonna talk some random numbers here just for showing how it should work. (I know you can't depip in ash rank but its just to explain.)

To go from ash rank 4 to 3 you need 3 pips and lets say 1 pip needs 25k bp. (survivor)

For example: The first match you play goes well and by the end of the match you have 20k bp, the second match you get camped so you'll only leave the match with 5k bp.

In a normal scenario you would lose a pip, but in this scenario you actually gain a pip.

So in my point of view people should be less "toxic" or "angry" because it still rewards you a bit, even if you die fast and the other people have the incentive to still try do to as much as possible to get their pips filled faster.

While i do understand that its impossible to actually gain 2 pips in certain instances when its only 1 or none you always get rewarded now instead of losing stuff That you can not actually do anything about.

What this can also bring is maybe new events like "Blood festival"

For example: Blood Festival: The weekend before the 13th with reset ALL bloodpoints are rewarded for your pips(Instead of only base) so it actually incentivizes people to throw their party streamers and anniversary cakes to quickly gain their last pips and also get their 1 mil bloodpoints in the end of the month.

This also makes it a bit easyer for people who do not have the time (because of work, children, or whatever reason) to still cap in the end of the month.

Thanks for reading.

I think this is a wonderful idea to get rid off a lot of toxic behaviour.
