Everyone's getting their last camps in

The uptick in camping just skyrocketed. I haven't had a single game all week where someone wasn't getting camped out halfway through the game, and half of them were camps from the start. The anti-camp can't come soon enough. People are camping like it's going out of style, but thank Mcote, it actually is

These have been one of the first times I've actually been face-camped while not in the EGC(excluding Bubs).

It honestly only ever happens when a killer gets extra pissy, which isn't all that common.

But now... they do it as a replacement for tunneling sometimes...

    Buy hey, its almsot Tuesday!

I haven't noticed an increase, thankfully. Had one camper this week. Edit: correction, just checked my stats and there were actually 2. A Bubba and a Trapper.

Prepare for the slugging, then., since that's going to be more efficient, especially when survivors figure out how to abuse the upcoming system.

Not much time left. Man I'm sure gonna miss huntress climbing on mountain hills posing like Hercules. good times

You won't likely get far against Huntress doing this after the update. If the Huntress can aim you'll get hit once as you unhook yourself to deal with Endurance and then M1'd before you can get any distance. Guess it could still keep her from snowballing potentially as the rest of the team can just stay on gens.

That's also what I don't get. The items and offerings took BP to earn, and you want to use a limited use consumable at its best. Camping isn't a consumable though, so only a dedicated Bubba memelord I can understand.

Yeah she can still tunnel off hook well . was just mainly referring to her strong ability to deny unhooks. Making it mandatory for two people to come off gens for the unhook.

Killers like huntress, Myers, and trapper confirm hook stages all the time. You will definitely see a tiny drop in the kill rates for such. Tunneling will just off set most of the damage tho.3 gen solution coming soon as well...

If you're not excellent in chase it might get bad pretty soon

What do you want? The more painfully you hit one side, the harsher the answer you get in return.

You have to ask yourself a question. Who are you really going to scare off with all these changes? Normal players or camper? Campers have a special mindset. They will adapt and come up with new tactics. If necessary, they will strike preemptively. Normal players will go play survivor or delete the game. I'm talking now about those who play a lot or constantly on the side of the killers. I just hope that you have enough killers for your lobby of those who play on holidays and for archives.

Kill rates will take a heavy hit. After that we'll get the solution to 3 gening. Which will further lower the kill rates.

I'm really curious on what the devs have planned after this. Gens are still perceived as the biggest threat by killers. Since they are mainly stacking slowdown perks.

We'll probably see an increase of slugging and a switch to no mither becoming meta. As survivors currently don't care about staying injured, due to mft and buckle up. Soul guard might also see a comeback.

Damn, with the regular "every killer camps" and "camping worse than ever" complaints, one would think that at some point the absolut saturation of 100% camping would be reached.

But just like in the fast and furious franchise, there seems always another gear to shift into.

(Or mayyybe people love to exaggerate on a regular basis 😜)

I think people have the inclination to remember the bad games more than the good ones. Negativity bias or something? That goes for both survivors and killers. I think alot of survivors see campers alot less than they think they do. I don't think this anti-camp mechanic will change much, at least not in my games because I don't see many campers to begin with.

Its not about resources. Its about using it in its strongest state before it gets nerfed.

Depending on how they change the PTB version of the anti-camp, it may be the last games for a while too.

I had too many instances of not camping yet the survivor unhooked himself.

Most happened while I was in a chase. Bullshit, plain and simple.

I will not tolerate that happening even once in the game. That'll be my cue to leave for a few months (depending on how fast they fix it).

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.
