What happened to hit reg?
I remember a time where you'd often get false hits if it'd connect on your screen but not the survivors. What happened to that? It has been a Neverending barrage of getting hit through already dropped pallets, miles away from windows, etc. As killer i havent had a false hit since before the DH nerf. What happened to registration????

I've had an increase lately of getting hit/going down at the same time as I get a pallet stun. It's been maybe a couple weeks now of seeing this frequently. Prior to that, I couldn't remember the last time something like that happened. They're messing with hit validation or something, I'm sure.

My understanding of validation is that it has 2 caveats.
The first, is the Survivor must pallet stun the Killer. No other method counts (since they removed DH for distance).
The second, is the Survivor must have hit the stun and sent that message to the server before the Killer's hit was sent to the server. Most pallet hits are either the Killer hitting slightly before the stun (fairly easy to do), or the Survivor being laggier than the Killer.
I'd argue a hybrid hit reg should apply to a ranged attack that the Killler 'hit through the wall' according to the server. Currently if the ranged attack hits on the Killer's screen, they get a normal hit. The hybrid system would instead Deep Wound the Survivor if injured, even without endurance, alongside a visual lag red bar + sound cue for feedback. This would down Deep Wounded Survivors regardless though. This way laggy Killers still get a 'lagvantage', but are forced to hit 1 extra time if they are lagging far too much that even the server takes issue with it. This also wouldn't too harshly punish a Killer placed on a wrong server outside of their control. Melee attacks can still be sketch, but not as egregious as ranged attack clearly hitting you through walls.
