Med-Kits Need Some Attention

Come on, the difference between a Purple and Brown med-kit is 15 seconds of Healing someone else?

Slightly increase charges as well. Not enough to grant a second heal, but enough to have a little left over to use on a teammate.

    I've seen so much Self-Care that I'm now running it with Botany and We'll Make It. I play the role of a med-kit to both myself and my teammates.

    The whole med-kit thing is crazy, the good add-ons are expensive and are so rare you get so few.

    Personally, i think all items needs overhaul.

    Maps are used as 5th perk. Very weak, but perk. Grants aura reading for everything for some duration.

    Medkits should grant ability to heal self without using charges, but at slow rate.

    Toolboxes should grant ability to sabotage hooks, without using charges (you still cannot see hooks aura, and sabitaging lasts long enough).

    Maybe new items, or addons should change how it works, for example addon that gives medkits charges, but allow to heal faster, or heal others faster. Addon that gives toolboxes charges and allow for faster gen repair untill charges are used up.

    Same, when I play solo I run a selfcare build because there is nothing more painful in solo queue for me that having a hit and run killer and having everybody running like headless chickens so I'd rather be able to at least heal myself and pressure by having quick heals. Usually it works, but it's just exhausting taking in account how 3 genning works at the moment.

    I wish addons were just interesting such as an addon that was maybe like Bite the Bullet when you use the medit, more speed while healing somebody off the floor, maybe even a Solidarity inspired one, yada yada yada... Just make them more fun to use. There are at lest 5 addons right now that are useless or barely useful at all.

    Healing needed a nerf for sure and boon + self healing speed are fair now, but medkits did not need to get the treatment they got especially if the hit and run meta was going to get pushed forward (sloppy, gen kicking x1000 times a minute, and so on).

    Yep, they need to do something about survivor items to make them appealing to use. Not all items need to be super strong, but at least fun to use (flashlights are a clear example). I've seen plenty of ideas to make deceiving items such as ones to create fake notifications (pebble-ish items) for example... It's just sad the it feels so boring to use items as survivor right now other than flashlights.

    You literally only see keys and maps if there is a tome challenge around what they can provide, because the effect itself is just not appealing at all.

    eh, I think medkits are fine. probably still the strongest item. different rarity med kits should do more than have a 5% difference though. maybe each one has a built in addon or something, like the purple med kit could be moved to red and have a basekit styptic idk. something like that.

    im using maps. it saves me perk slot so i can see totems around.

    Do the green maps show totems? Every time I find a green map in a chest it just highlights one generator.

    The faster alturism healing speed can matter when it comes to picking up slugs before the killer can intervene. It frees up a perk slot so you can have things like Made of This or Buckle Up for the endurance.

    I think Med-kits are fine. Yes if you only care about self healing, you only need a brown med-kit. But it's far more balanced this way as efficient self healing is really strong.

    It needs addon. Or other perk that shows totems, then those are saved on the map, its for people who cannot remember or find totems knowing their general position. But yeah, with an addon it shows those on its own.
