The Furtive Chase change is alright
Don't get me wrong, the Perk will finally be useful, but I'm seeing a trend in the last few Perk buffs, just slap Endurance, Haste or the Undetectable status effect for X seconds after performing X action to make the Perk usable, it's getting quite tiresome to be honest.
I think this isn't the right direction to go, Endurance, Haste and Undetectable were a rare thing in DbD until the recent patches for a good reason, now there is huge overlap and stacking of these Perks and if BHVR wants to make a Perk decent they can just slap one of these effects onto it which just removes any creativity.

While I would normally agree with you, I think for Furtive Chase Undetectable actually makes sense since it’s a Ghostface perk and it keeps the theme of technically reducing your terror radius (by removing it). So I give this one a pass.

Yeah no, furtive chase would only be "good" if they flipped its effect around.
A shorter TR while in chase is pretty much worthless.
A 32m tr killer will go down to 12m in chase at full stacks, 12 meters is enough distance for a survivor to still be aware the killer is in the tile with him.
It gets a little better when it comes to 24m TRs but the survivor will still pre-run because the effects only trigger when the chase is active.

Yea, Furtive Chase is actually the one Perk that fits with the Undetectable effect, I was talking more generally about Perk buffs these days tbf.

Fair. I do agree Haste and Endurance have been overused lately.

12 meters is where TR begins, so by the time survivor hear first heartbeat, your would already be next to them. I can react to 16 meter TR but only if i am near a window or pallet like shack. at 12 meters, your not reacting to the killer behind a wall. I agree that the perk would be very good if they switched it but they did not. new version is still better then what live version is but it is not same perk.

Yeah, I noticed this when they reworked Buckle Up. It seems the devs have gotten in the habit of picking a static effect and putting it on every new or rework perk to come out. We have so many Endurance perks now that they starting to run into each other and getting harder to tell which perk is being used. For killer it seems to be Haste, last few months we have gotten three perks that give haste for killer: Machine Learning, Rapid Brutality, and now Furtive Chase.

Frankly, I don't think anything increasing or decreasing runspeed should be a thing at all unless it comes with exhaustion, and even then, it should be very limited in how long it lasts. It really destroys the whole balance flow of chases for both sides.

I also agree with you that why I'm not a huge fan of all the haste perks that are being added into the game right now. I think it was fine when it was just Hope and NOED since they both are endgame perks but now they seeing more and more haste being part into the game.

It's also absolutely gutting the weaker killers. They don't need to be even weaker.
