Pinhead broken - PS4

Since the update, my games with Pinhead have not allowed me to use L2 or L1 for his powers. I can't use his chains or teleport to survivors solving the box.
I had a couple games that were fine but now every game his power becomes permanently disabled. I can still M1 with him when this happens but that's it.
