Crash on PC - no discernible root

Has anyone else been getting crashes where you literally can't submit an error report because it locks up your entire computer? Alt+F4 doesn't work, trying to tab out shows the brief array of options to tab to but doesn't actually let you tab away to anything. The only option is to force log out or force quit, which means an error report can't be sent.
At first it was mostly happening with freezing and crashing after a match when I tried to go back to lobby or main menu, but now it's doing it mid-match. ETA: with no real consistency of 'what's happening at the time' that I can tell. The most recent one I had started to cleanse a totem.
