Bug report - East coast servers Disconnected from host

-Me and my friend about 30 minutes away both play DBD and notice that we get this strange bug where when you perform any action, it can cause us to have our character freeze in place, but other characters still move around, after about 20 seconds it kicks us from the lobby, says "You have been disconnected from the host" or "Network connection error" and then we get a DC penalty. When we are in eachothers lobby, when it happens to one of us, it happens to both of us. We have the same internet provider but again, live about 30 minutes apart. So hopefully that helps with regards to the issue being about network.
-This occurs often, depending on the day. Can happen 2-3 times, at which no point in playing then, at an hour DC penalty.

I realize this is a late reply, but I've had this problem FOREVER and it's incredibly frustrating. It happened again recently, and to bypass the current 72 hour lock on my account, I used one of my old Steam accounts and used Family Sharing to play the game.
Doing this gives me a fresh access to the game, but none of the points or items or prestige levels on my old account - it's like starting over brand new. Somehow, playing on this brand new character, I don't get dc'd at all. It's been hours. I usually disconnect within 1-3 rounds.
Since the wifi is the same, the computer is the same, the platform is the same, I wonder if the disconnections come from me using a character that owns a bazillion items (literally thousands of medkits, toolboxes, etc). Once my original account unlocks, I'm going to try playing on a character that doesn't have many items and see if it makes any difference.
I know it doesn't make sense, but I have the weirdest feeling that the dc's have something to do with having an excessive amount of items. Does your main character have tons of items, by any chance?

Sorry to say but the issue isn't account specific. Happened to me on a level 9 account and on my main account
