Does anyone know if you hear back from reporting someone?
I have never reported before. This is the first time I've done it. I would like to hear back so I know these types of players don't go unpuinished I had two SWF block me in a corner and one of them was doing the thing where you have you keep starting the unhook and canceling it last second over and over they did the same to me. I try avenge the other survivor who I couldn't save when I do get out by doing the same to him the killer decides to come down me when he didn't to them then he let the last one get the hatch which I mean could be that he didn't know.
Was I right. I didn't report the killer since I can't really see how that could be possible.

Yes you get an message if any action was taken (I got it at the after starting the game, don't know if you get it while being in the lobby too) :D

No, seems having event items before days before the event starts isnt considered exploit/cheats.. big reason why I don't bother reporting in dbd.. don't blame the players if people dont report it's the person with power that is on the other end that their judgment might not be the greatest when it comes to decisions..
It is what it is...

What do you mean by event items? I was talking about cancelling the unhooking so I couldn't save the other person and holding me in the corner.

It looks something like this if you report someone correctly. You still don't get a detailed report, but of course you could just look up that date and what players you reported there.

You should do, but I've been waiting over a month to receive a verdict for a ticket that I supplied video evidence for.
Don't expect anything in any reasonable amount of time.

I had no in-game feedback after reporting two duly documented teleporters (video and all).
Looking at their Steam profiles, they haven't been banned either.
I'd post the video but I think the name of the profiles are visible at the end.
