Unable to complete event challenges

I was able to complete a few of the event challenges and claim a tome reward but now I can no longer complete the challenges. I have challenges selected and can see the HUD pop up in game showing when I've completed them yet when I check the tome they are unfinished. After doing the challenges pictured I tried all the ones adjacent but I cannot claim any challenges. I'm unsure the of the cause of this bug or how to trigger it. I included a picture of what tome challenges I've completed.

Edit: restarting fixes it
