Secret Room Easter Egg on Midwich Bugged for Survivors

Me and a friend were testing out Easter Eggs in the game, and when we tried the one in Midwich, it worked for killer, but not survivor. It just didn't trigger for any survivors. We tried both sides ourselves, and it only triggered for the killer. We did both of the required generators, but no progress ended up being made towards the Easter Egg for us when we played survivor.
This seems to have been in the game for months, as I remember trying to do it myself a while back, but it didn't work back then either.
