I've lost hope with Autohaven, they will never nerf the number of pallet.

Survivor doesn't need 20 pallets to survive the game, I hope they know that

My issues is that the killers finally get a pallet favored map (new borgo) and BHVar immediately announces they are aware and will fix, but we have mapsnlike auto haven and the Game that are filled to the brim with pallets and nothing is done. If survivors can get multiple pallet favored maps, killers should also get the same on some maps.

My ideal map if I ever designed would be a map with 15-18 pallets but 50% of the pallets would be pallets with long side and short side similar to dead dog saloon pallet where when you are on top floor and you drop down, there is that wagon pallet. these pallets would be random spawn, so you could have 5/15, 6/16, 7/17, 8/17, 9/18 of these type of pallets. these pallets could be placed anywhere but they should never link into windows or other pallets. so min-distance of 12 meters.

the remainder of the pallets should be unsafe pallets similar to the dead dog saloon pallet behind the basement building but they should connect to each other to be like really close to each other such that if you drop them, they link into each other when dropped. I am not sure how close a pallet has to be for you consider linking it but let say 6-10 meters of each other. I would refer these pallets as pallet chains. in other words, if one spawns, other spawns and each map would have 2-4 pallet chains for a total of 4-6 pallets.

the remainder of pallets would be reserved for classic tile-set.... like shack, long wall jungle gyms, classic jungle gyms and ormond type jungle gym. most of the time, the map seems to have a shack+2-3 tile-sets. but i think tile-set that spawn should be weaker or stronger based off how many filler pallet that spawned. for example, 8-9 short long side pallet spawns and 3 pallet chains spawn then loops should be weaker variants like 4 lane wall, T-L wall, single long-wall pallet but if the map spawns 5-6 filler pallets with 2 pallet chains then the map should contain strong tiles like Ormond jungle gym, classic long-wall gym, regular jungle gym.

dbd's issue with maps is that a lot of the map spawn with really strong easy to use resources. the resources are like loop pallet twice, drop the pallet, killer break pallet. rince repeat. there is not enough playing around dropped pallets and there is like lack of strategy in linking pallets along with too much reliance on tile-sets, often strong tile-sets.

Oh did they say they're fixing borgo? That's great because a few times I loaded in with windows and someone had open hand, I only saw three palettes lol.

Yup. They mentioned it on the live stream...at least said they were doing another pallet balance pass on it.
