Please BHVR, I beg of you: do away with depipping!

Please BHVR, this is an honest plead.

Just stop the endless cycle of sweating and double punishment for being matched with a superiour opponent and do away with this antiquated mechanic.

Double the pips needed to pip up, but make it so that you can only de-pip by DCing and the game will be much more fun for everyone. I gurantee it. And you will probably see less camping and tunneling, then any clever anti-tunneling mechanics could provide.

Just do IT! The community demands it.

Thanks, and keep up the good work. XOXO

Yes the depipping is quite annoying.

As i usually have good and bad games i never rank up at a certain point because after some good escapes the stomper (or bad teammates) is guaranteed.

There have been probably a dozen, maybe more threads about this already. Yet for whatever reason, BHVR ignores it.

Removing this worthless mechanic already, it has no reason to exist. It doesn't improve any aspect of the game whatsoever, it only makes it worse. If a player has a bad match, they don't need the game adding injury to insult.

    I agree with Akumakaji's opinion.

    Depip is harmful.

Required only as a DC penalty.

I don't understand why it wasn't removed the very moment rank/grade no longer had any matchmaking relevance.

Because they feared that it would take away players drive to do better? To not make the mechanic just a source of free Blood Points? What ever the reason, now its harming the game a lot more then any potential benefit it might have held at one point.
