Plague's vomit hits invisible walls midair

Playing as The Plague your puke will randomly hit invisible barriers in the air. It happens at least once, usually multiple times per game especially if you try puking in the same area in succession. It has occurred every game of plague I have played recently so it does not seem to be a map-specific issue.
