Basekit anti-tunneling and anti-camp but pyramid head flies under the radar?
Every single other killer save from high mobility killers or some killers with addons that allow you to bypass these measures (cough cough pinhead) are heavily punished for camping and tunneling, while pyramid heads kit literally encourages it. It is extremely unfun to get saved from the box just to instantly go down because you don't get base kit BT or anti-tunneling perks. Also, a more skilled pyramid head can play around the anti-camping feature that makes the box move by proximity camping it and using his power when someone tries to get the save. I love pyramid head as a character and its fun to be chased by him but the mechanics of the box just make me dread playing against him. I was wondering what other people thought about this as well.

An addon buff/rework and base kit buff would be enough to keep him a good killer if he were made unable to tunnel and camp as easily. Not being exposed but instead other debuffs while tormented is a good idea for a buff.

I do not know how feasible it is that bhvr changes him but if they do they need to do something else with tormented as the fact that cages do not proc bt and so on its the only good thing they provide, without that if you do not change or add anything to cages, tormented becomes an useless status effect and there would be no reason to cage anyone.

People just need to accept this is not an issue that can be solved without fundamental changes to the game.
Only way to stop camping is to make it so camping is not with in the killers control. For example, survivors get sent into a void when down and come out after a set time. No slugging, no hooks. As you can see this would change the game drastically. Killers won't waste time moving survivors to hooks and survivor won't waste time going for saves. Breaking a lot of the current gameplay loop.

The reason to cage survivors is because it's faster than hooking, prevents survivors from saving them mid-carry, and denies survivors perks that function off of being hooked/unhooked.

This! No other killer comes to mind that has a base kit way to counter grasp saves so directly. Its definitely enough of a reason to keep the cage mechanic while introducing an anti tunnel mechanic to it. It would be fine to keep hook/unhook perks not activating if you couldn't just instantly die out of the box. The time save is also a very good reason as well. In addition, if the killer was rewarded for caging (maybe a furtive chase style buff) it would encourage the killer to use the cages.

An addon pass, especially to the addons that give debuffs while tormented, or a base buff to torment would make it a much more viable status effect.

Let me save ≤10 seconds with a cage for it to spawn near a survivor and they instarescue so I lose map pressure and survivors save the time it takes to get to the place I would have hooked their team mate. The total time save its negative if survivors spread which is what any. Decent team should be doing.
