The haunted by daylight event is proving some concepts to me. That is that this game has room for changes that could be seen as drastic. Some form of the void or something like it has potential to be a permanent fixture in the game provided it had the right type of impact on the objectives. the future of dead by daylight needs to break up some of it's repetitive gameplay. The only things that tends to drop new players pretty often is once they get the basics but don't yet see the depth of gameplay. To them it feels like beating their head against the wall. a few more flashy game play mechanics like the void are what i see as a way to fix this.
