Why play Hillbilly,Pig,or Nemesis when you can play Mastermind who does everything better than all

Mastermind obviously is broken and from a solo quo survivor who has been playing since 2019, no other killer repeatedly gives me loses than Mastermind. EVERY other killer has a balance of escapes and deaths on my record from me besides Mastermind, here is why.

He does mobility better than Hillbilly. He can instantly rush around the map easier and more comfortably than Hillbilly. Hillbilly most tactically dodge around the smallest of obstacles and even if a slither of wall sicks out he instantly loses his mobility. Wesker "HUIH HUIH!" just ignores every wall and just slides around, completely rushing from one end to the other. Has an add-on to break pallets like Hillybilly and if not, who cares just jump it like Legion. Not to mention Hillybilly's hitboxes are BROKENLY small, while Mastermind's is BROKENLY too Large.

Has superior slow-down than Pig. Pig is a slow killer who needs to actually put some work into slowing down before gens can get done to get her slow down which done right can slow the game down more than Mastermind. But Wesker all he has to do is "HUIH HUIH" hit and boom instantly slows down the game, forcing survivors to take time out of the match to run across the map to open a SLOW box, than watch a SLOW spray animation. Pig games has 5 traps at most, Wesker can make each survivor have to do this at least TWICE if you have just the slightest skill.

Has better infection than Nemesis. Nemesis's tentacle actually needs to be aimed decently, even when keyboard players are spaming left/right making his infection easily to miss. And guess what even if you hit him, oh no they just turn blue wow! So you need to hit them twice with this inaccurate whip or get a random zombie hit...... Wesker "HUIH HUIH" not only infects them but ALSO hurts them? What? So not only is it easier to infect them, it automatically causes damage to. Only in extremely rare cases he throws yu and you don't hit a wall, do you not get the extra damage. Plus why does infection continue, WHILE in CHASE? At least Pig's traps stall nope, not "HUIH HUIH" Man.

Also not only can he spam the "HUIH HUIH" it is unlimited, no reloading this power like huntress or DeathSlinger, no special way to build up the power like Oni , automatic recharge after mere seconds, while in a chase, no downside effects.

There should be barrels around the map to reload the power, or make infection not also cause damage to a non-infected player.

The only reason I see him in the game is to give bad players something to play, that while is pick rate is through the roof.

    no wesker is fine as he is you can avoid infection damage by running in open areas with no object infront of you + his power has a cool down of 6 seconds which can actually help you gain distance

    And wesker is more of a skill awarding killer. I’ve played a little bit of him myself and I played against him numerous times in soloQ and no the killer is fine as he is.

    He requires skill in order to win, has a few penalties for missing hits such as cool downs to his M2 bounds, holding his second bound for too long which resets it

    maybe try playing him to see how he actually works

    The only problem I think wesker has is that his infection makes tunneling easier but that’s something that could be looked at without gutting him. Maybe decisive strike could have a buff where it disables his power for a short while granting you an escape window from a tunneling wesker

    and also the top pick rate has nothing to do with him being an OP killer. He’s fun to play and is skill awarding and makes the game feel fun which is something we barely have every now and then.

    Wesker is overrepresented for sure --- but not overpowered. Powerful, yes. But also fun --- if it weren't for DBD occasionally turning into DBW. No matter how fun originally, things become old, boring and eventually very annoying.


    And maybe he needs a tiny limiter in his kit to make him less good at coming-back-to-hook as his go-to-strategy (though, I find among players that are generally not that skilled with his kit do that more frequently). Something small like killer instinct upon using a spray only happens when your infection was not reduced by being hooked. That way people who know Wesker is a friend of coming back to hook do at least have a chance to actually get away and not get away - just to be found not even a minute later because they have to use a spray. I wouldn't want to remove infection upon being hooked entirely, cause that would screw with the balance between available sprays and times they need to be used (also taking add-ons and playstyles into account).
