Survivors spent years looping killers for 2-5 gens, they're not use to it. They thought it was suppose to be the norm.

You mean the same same drawback that gets basically completely reduced to nothing by his higher initial speed? His time to down someone if all knives hit is still just 2 seconds right? So even though he needs more knives now it does not matter too much since the throw speed also got increased. How is there little to no time adjusting? You're spamming the knives anyway. Also with higher windup time and more punishment at loops, if you were reffering to huntress there, she needs to charge her hatchet and gets punished way more severely for readying up a hatchet and putting it away than trickster does with his knives.
Wraith has a little bit more than just basic m1 killer gameplay but whatever.
