Dear BHVR, please think again: THE TRICKSTER DOES NOT NEED A BUFF.
Yes, let me tell you point by point why I personally think this is so.
1. Almost no effort was made on his power
this brazen Asian fashionista, whom, frankly, I would not ironically like to see in the grave, as fashionable as he is.
Has one of the worst abilities in the game, not weak, but bad (yes, in my opinion....but I don't care about yours, because this is my performance).
And yes, without irony, I consider him a careless mistake - well, more precisely, his ability.
To be honest, I just adore his image: he is a crazy creator who wrote all the music that we hear when we play for him and against him. But his ability....I hate her so much that when he came out I played only for a trickster for quite a long time:because I perceived him simply as a killer for jokes. Like with the power of the ability, it's impossible to win anyway, so why not have fun enjoying everything else?
But his power....but his power
He's just a weaker Anna without any funny features. Even deathslinger feels more special than him.
From that, I believe that his power should be precisely reworked
2. Well, you know that word...
His weapon is an improvised axe.
In addition to these factors, the trickster has a lot of mechanics taken from the Huntress, which look bad on the trickster or do not work properly.
Well, why give him the opportunity to throw knives far if because of the recoil their effective range does not exceed 20 meters
Why give him a 40 meter lullaby if his effective radius is 20 meters
Why should he be given a speed of 4.4 if the effective radius of his ability does not exceed 20 meters much, or maybe even less than 20 meters? He should be a 4.6 killer from the very beginning!
Why give him the main event if it doesn't work?(Yes, now some of these things have been fixed, but unfortunately not in the best way:Also, the main event may become too useful considering the new addons.)

I don't think you understand what the words improvisation and mistakes mean but that aside.
Trickster was and still is weak, however the fact you don't like his weapons is purely a YOU issue, its subjective. Gameplay wise he stood little out and there was little reason to pick him over Huntress or Deathslinger, in fact there still won't be much.
Reduce the 4.6 back to 4.4 m/s and give him Ricochet Blades and work around that. Its a buff that affects his lethality in maps where he currently sucks and makes him stand out in the Roster, also a LOT more fun to play and play against than just buffing his numbers, which won't change the main issue about him having a weird spot in the game.

I don't agree i think he's always needed a buff.
Also his visual design is not relevant towards him being buffed? I like his visual design... it's why i want this killer to be more fun to play as and against.

If he doesn't get buffs, he'll be buried with a bunch of crappy killers as before.

The game feeds killers victories anymore; it's pretty pathetic and the reason why I don't touch the game outside of events and rifts.

But only he needed a rework and not a buff, at least not the buff that we got, because it does not fix his problems, even those that are not far-fetched. I'm talking about the fact that he will not be fun for the survivors at all, although ideally he should have become both stronger and more interesting (which seems impossible to do with the existing concept of his ability) Well, personally I would like him to be...something more than just a weak huntress-he at least deserves it

People need to stop obsessing with reworking everything they don't like. There's nothing wrong with Trickster being a knife throwing killer and being more of a machine gun. It's unique and helps him stand part from other range killers.
Buffing him makes sense because he's underperforming.

He's always needed a buff. But now that you being up the 20 meter effective range, slinger has 18 meter range limit, why can't he be 4.6?

1. deathslinger deals damage immediately if of course he pull the survivor to himself...but the trickster is not.
2. The effect of the ability does not subside by itself
and perhaps the fact that deathslinger can reload a gun on the move without leaving the chase to go open the closet.
Well, I think so....perhaps they did so because it was the standard for all long-range killers (at the same time they did not add a lullaby, which in my opinion was a mistake and therefore the best way to fix his terror radius is 32 is too much.)
But I still hope that soon we will see some buffs for him, as well....I hope I answered your question
