Monto, Tru there's countless people out there that play killer well at rank 1 and gen rush is in every game and if killers couldn't handle it none of them would ever get to rank 1 let alone 4k ever.

Why? The simple reason is yes they are rank 1 and do great but they also have thousands of hours in the game. This provides not only experience but things such as unlocking every teachable perk in the game, access to them on every killer and more consistant access to the very best addons every game.
So if you use these people as examples you are essentially saying hey you just need thousands of hours in the game, access to the best addons each game, unlock every teachable and have access to them on each killer and thennnn youll do great as killer at rank one.1 -

Lets clarify the statement of plenty of rank 1 killers do fine. Not saying they dont but examples like these are really bad.

I only through them out there as an example and never said they 4k every game but I believe it was Monto that did a challenge and he 4k'd over 100 games straight.
But as for gen rush it's in every single game and if after 2 years the killers complaining about it can't handle it that mean they're the problem. You also don't have to have everything unlocked on every killer to do well and in fact have a core group you like to play and go from there.

Just because something has been in the game for years doesnt mean it cant be improved on. Thats like saying tunneling has been in the game from the start, that means survivors complaining about it are the problem cause they cant handle it.
As for a core group. Lets say you want Ruin, BBQ, Enduring and Spirit Fury. So thats 4 different killers to get a good set of perks. Well ruin is pretty much useless unless you have Tier 3 to effect all survivors not just 2. Spirit Fury is pretty much useless unless you have the perk at Tier 3 where its 2 pallets not 4. BBQ can be debated whether its still useful as a grinding perk at any level, but if you want to effectively use it with soft counters now, you want it at Tier 3. Thats still a massive grind. This is a pretty standard set up a lot of the time.
Now what i am saying is these people you mentioned have access to the very best Tier 3 perks on every killer. Not to mention they again have access to consistently the best addons every game due to the amount they play. Again i am not saying a person cannot do well at Rank 1, but using people with thousands of hours of game time for an example of balance considering the games mechanics with perks and addons is a terrible example.

Good Lord have mercy. This post is so disorganized and everything, no reasoning as to why their should be a hex totem built in. And completely messy
1/10 wouldn't read again

You should better get rid of your toxicity and double standards first.

Ok so how is that toxic again, was it insulting to the poster yes but toxic no and considering it's a killer post it's funny you'd say toxic. Since it's now toxic for anything survivors do or anyone that dares to criticize a killer mains post.
If the person was actually being toxic they'd have either been racist, homophobic, used a mental insult of some kind etc. Also double standards where'd you get that from did they say something different in a thread because if so why not post it here.
If not then perhaps you shouldn't accuse someone of a double standard then when they did no such thing.

I've said and agreed something needs to be done and am all for secondary objectives but that's not the issue. The issue is that people are using any and every excuse under the sun for their own bad gameplay. When it gets pointed out that people can and do get 4k whether pro or not guess what happens.
The insult, deflect, blame everyone else and use and and all excuses to distract and place blame where the blame sometimes is on them. I'm going to laugh so hard when the rank rework hits and some of these people find out they had it easier before it got harder.
Because they'll have to come up with new excuses and people and things to blame and it'll be even funnier when the secondary objectives land. Because at that point if they get gen rushed it's their own fault for not playing well.

The same could be said for any good 4 perks you want, it's not supposed to be here let me pull up to the drive through and order a quick take out of my favorite perks. It's an equal playing field grind wise, everyone has to do it, there's no shortcut
I also enver run Ruin and while I use BBQ I sometimes swap it out and Enduring is occasionally used.

I had all the perks I wanted to use before those thousands of hours and others have done the same, it's all about proper planning and not blowing bp/shards on characters you're not going to play. Those people have also had all those perks and addons long before they got to the 4k hour stage.

You have so many perks that help you slow down the game. I mean really it's because you aren't good at the game. You actually have to do things not expect to be handed a 4k game...0

It's like complaining about looping. What else do you want them to do? Have you ever tried to stealth on a even somewhat competent killer during chase? It fails 9/10 times, because they have ears, they actually think because they are not an AI. Plus blood trail, and when the scratch marks stop, they will just double back and check the general area for a year, cause once again, they can think on their own. And if bloodhound is in use, you can bet there is no chance.
Same thing applies here, if you have ruin, the survivors will either go for it, or work through it if they are competent enough. It's their objective. Do you want them to come to you and mess with you more like toxic survivors are supposed to do or something?
To me, it sounds like you are not applying enough pressure to them.
There is simply not enough time to apply pressure when everyone genrushs
Sounds like you just don't want them to do what they are supposed to do. What else do you want them to do?
