Cannot interact with one side of Generator

I can't interact with the wider part of this generator on Hawkins near the exit, just the left side. The wider part I'm facing gives me no prompt to repair.

    Just an update:

    I was at this map again today, same generator, same problem. There is no prompt for me to repair the larger side of it.
