As a console player, kinda scared about Chucky
I am a console player and I'm really hyped for Chucky to come into the game. His power looks simple but fun, but I've been seeing clips of his slice-n-dice ability, with some even claiming it's like Onis charge or Billy's Chainsaw. And well if so, it would suck for me to not really be able to play him due to being on console and dealing with limits of controllers.
I've tried in the past to try and learn Killers that are more difficult for console and while I've done well with some, Oni and Billy are still ones I suck at lol

Oni and Billy are both pretty straight forward on console. There are some crazy things you can't really do, but 95% of the time, they're fine on a controller. Chucky will be fine on console.

I play Oni on console quite a bit & have since his release & never had an issue with him. Sure a couple of things are easier on pc (tried that too) but never found controller more difficult.
I'm a terrible Billy but thats a me issue! Excited for Chucky, was always my most wanted, not playing the test build waiting to get right to work on launch with my new main (sorry Trapper been a good 6 years!)

Controller is definitely more limited for these killers - especially Oni with flicking. Which is a HUGE part of his power… so I get you there
maneuverability is possible on controller even for these killers though and I think that’s the main part where they are similar to Chucky?
i haven’t seen enough of Chucky yet so might be wrong.. but he does have a very different PoV after all, and that should help? I think/hope?

I would honestly say it's way more of a blend between Blight and Pig with a tiny splash of Wesker, dash-wise. You don't quite have the same turning rate you'd have with Oni and Billy, and doing flicks, if even possible, doesn't really work much as Oni's flicks. In general, I would say his power is way easier to get a grip on control-wise right away, than Oni or Billy. Not really a console player, though, so can't say how he'd feel with controller.

One thing I noticed when you jump through windows or under pallets during dash is you can flick to left/right and change direction by like 90 degrees. Not sure how this will translate to controller, but I've got a feeling it will be much harder to pull off effectively.

I feel yah. I cannot play oni due to constraints on the controller. I do ok with hillbilly but still get demolished a lot of games with him.
i worried with chucky that it would be similar. I cannot use pinheads chain either because fine control is lost with controllers.

He is not like Oni, only a bit similar.
I am so bad with Billy and Oni , i just can't play these killers. But i performed so well with Chucky and adepted his power already. So i believe Chucky will be console player friendly killer. His power is really easy to control and learn.

What do you mean fine control? I play pinhead on console and it seems fine.

I don't think I'll like him in general. The liscence is cool but like I'm garbage and going to end up getting destroyed every chucky I go against. I also think playing him is going to be strange. I suppose I'll just have to learn lol.
