Alan Wake as a survivor

A respected and fondly-remembered horror game series that just got a positively-received sequel this year, featuring a distinctive and recognizable protagonist kidnapped from his reality, struggling to escape a hellish dimension of darkness ruled by an evil god that repeatedly attempts to torment him, frequently sending killers to hunt him down that he must fend off with flashlights.

He's practically a DbD character already, he'd fit right into the cast, no problem. I'm sure Remedy would be happy to work with BHVR on it too.

Also, in a funny coincidence, Alan Wake 2 has "Overlaps", where reality and the dark dimension merge together, just like what Haddie deals with in her backstory.

    He absolutely would be a fantastic addition and he has some great ideas for perks that could be added!

    As rough examples: a perk that heals whilst under the lights of a completed generator; an improved flashlight which knocks back killers as well as blinds then; a flare which, when placed, has a small radius where a killer cannot use its powers or perks whilst it is lit

    There are quite a few with huge potential.
