Buff for Rookie Spirit
The perk's hardly picked. The effects feel underwhelming. It helps track stealthy killers (whose auras cannot be read with Alert), but only while they're in patrol mode and kicking gens.
Even then, do I run all the way across the map to tap the gen? What if it only had 10% progress on it and will be fully regressed by the time I get to it?
Idea... On top of its current effects, the intensity of Rookie Spirit's aura for regressing generators will be determined by the gen's progress. From red gen auras at 0% to white gen auras at 100%.
Now, the survivor can have better decision making before running all the way across the map to stop regressing gens.

They really need to make another meta shake up soon and rework like 30-40 perks altogether. The overwhelming majority of survivor perks are bad and it's no surprise people gravitate towards the same perks again and again.

Also, while you're at it, please remove the undisclosed mechanic that reduces skill check frequency for perks like Rookie Spirit, Stakeout, Autodidact, Corrective Action, and Fogwise.
Yes! It's a thing. It's subtle, but still noticeable...

Rookie spirit was decent during gen kick meta. It's redundant now.
Yeeeeeesss.

You can shake a jar of oil and water, but eventually they will separate. Good perks will rise to the top. The rest will sink.
The only way to see more perks from the bottom of the list is to give players an extra perk slot that can only be used to equip one of the 10 least used perks.
The 10 least used perks can be updated every chapter / mid-chapter. Some of those perks will rise up out of the list for simply being picked as the extra, but that means the few perks that remain at the very bottom chapter after chapter can be looked at and buffed/changed accordingly.
