Question to the DBD team.
Do you guys think that Spirit was worth it.
So I heard from somewhere (can't remember where) that the DBD team spent somewhere around $30,000 on creating Spirit. So was she worth all that money? Is her result satisfying? I've always been curious since Spirit is my current main and favourite killer to play (joint with Hag) and I wondered if the devs thought the same.
Will Nurse ever get a nerf?
I like Nurse a lot. I love her design, her unique power and her gameplay. But she's extremely strong. A streamer called Ardetha -who mains killer btw- made a point saying that Nurse will have to get nerfed or reworked one day. And that's made me wonder, will she ever get one since all killers are becoming so strong and soon survivors will become fodder to Leatherface the way it's going. Nurse is so overpowered right now but she's not over the top. The way the game is going, she will become over the top so will the devs make plans to nerf her or will she be left alone?

In the current state of the game, where there are too few reliable killers, Nurse shouldnt get touched at all (maybe her multiple Blink add-ons, but whatever). Buff/Rework all low tier killers and then we can talk about her.
As for Spirit, she was 100% worth it. She is one of the most appreciated and loved killer by the community and one of the high tier ones. She did get screwed a bit with the engine update, but that is a matter of getting it fixed.
The advantage and possibilities from her power are the most original from all other killers, mainly mindgames. When its done correctly, such as grabbing someone from a generator/totem, getting a Survivor to run towards you, pallet mindgames, its the most satisfying moment you can get in a game.
Her aesthetics, that is where most of the work went towards to. And the end result, outstanding. A badass lady with unique movement, so many facial expressions and interesting noises.
That said, Im a Spirit main, so I might be just a bit biased.0 -

nurse over powered. she takes massive skill to use. and the maps are full of dead zones. things she cant blink through. "will have to get nerfed or reworked" absolutely not who cares if some streamer says oh i think this so its set in stone. if anything killers should be on the same level as her if you aint even half decent with nurse you get wrecked. she should stay as is and not nerfed. dont want her to turn into a freddy 2.0 turning her where her power goes against her into a potato

I was just wondering though. Also she doesn't take too much skill to master. She's got the same skill cap as Hag. Spirit takes massive skill

I main her too. I think she was worth it. I love her mindgames, especially with A nurses calling. When you chase someone and phase when other people are healing in ur terror radius, they'll NEVER expect you to phase to them and smack them down. The sheer amount of jumpscares/DC's I get from it is amazing.

There are a ton of reliable killers right now. Every single top tier killers are reliable. That is Nurse, Billy, Hag and Spirit. And a few mid tier killers are that's Myers, Huntress, Clown and Wraith (yes he's solid right now with windstorm). That's 8 killers out of 14. 6 aren't reliable. If you have trouble as those 8 killers then if it's Wraith, that's kind of understandable since he's reliable but he takes a hell of a learning curve to master his new speed burst. But the other 7 are very good and you should be solid.

The only thing that I'd like to see changed on Nurse is omega blink Nurse since 2 is fine 3 is manageable but 4-5 is just plain wrong. I've faced some really good Nurse players using 5 blink builds and it's over within minutes.

Nurse is unplayable on console... just throwing that out there, she's weaker than wraith even in the right hands. I would like it if they just gave her a rework where she normal killer movement and can just walk through objects at 105-110% with her stun afterwards.

They're going to fix her on console with the FPS fix, plus even if they don't you got Hag, who is the 2nd strongest killer on console (to Billy) and she is very similar to Nurse. On console once they fix the FPS, Nurse will be great. But buffing her is NOT a good idea. She's overpowered enough as it is right now.

Er no. I had 600 hours on console and about 10 Nurse games. She's hard but she's not unplayable. I have managed to 4 man with her on console. I had the Game map to my advatage but I did manage to 4 man. She takes a lot of skill. Just increase the turning rate on console and fix the fps and she's FINE. No need for those buffs you mentioned. When it comes to console, I know a lot about that enviroment so don't try tricking me into thinking she's unplayable

When and if secondary objectives come into play then nurse may need to get toned down but not until then...

they dont COVER distance quicker, it gives more distance TO cover which are different things. They are game breaking op, end the "chase" in 5s or less. A good nurse will 4k in about a minute with this, but its not being good, just a mediocre nurse will 4k with this, and a bad nurse will get kills no matter what, there is no excuse in it.
