I rly love the concept and idea but it feels hard to get value out of it. Maybe it should be buffed?
I think it is bad perk unfortunately. I mean, look at other perks which are that gens being completed are trigger condition. They are all not that good. I think those perks including Machine Learning could be buffed.
It shouldn’t need a 2 gen kick requirement, just 1. It’s too situational. It’s sad because I enjoyed using it when it did work but it’s just not consistent enough.
It's a perk that the effect is good but you cannot decide when you are going to use them, it's like cruel limits, you have no control of the perk, it just activates out of nowhere and you can have it activated while you are walking for example patrolling gens
Like this perk, it's hard to activated and you don't have control of it, so I don't think it's good at all
The perk is just kind of a mess.
First you have to kick 2 gens in order set up the perk. This means if you want to set up the perk on a gen you want to lose, you have to find a different gen to kick first or kick that gen and just hang around until someone touches it. It's a time sink that you never really get back.
Second, it can only be active on 1 gen at a time. This means once you set it up on a gen you expect to get done, you then can't kick anymore gens until machine learning goes off.
Third, generally if you are kicking a gen you are trying to prevent that gen from being complete.
Trial of Torment is just kind of a better perk even though it doesn't have haste simply because you kick the gen and immediately get value of undetectable.
Good effect BUT you cant control when to use and vey limited uses.
Also, i don t get that 2 kick condition. Just add last kicked gen is compromised or something like that.
It is just way too gimmicky due to its activation conditions. Never worth using unless you are going for fun builds where you try to get value out of bad perks.
They could just make it a Hex, and for as long as it is standing, any gen being completed that you have kicked at any prior point grants you the 30-second Undetectable and Haste effects. Maybe they could even make it so that it only lights up once it activates for the first time (i. e. once a gen you have kicked is completed), such that you are at least getting one guaranteed activation out of it.
It’s not that good.
10% movement speed is really strong, but the perk usually never activates more than once a match and the survivors have a lot of control over it too. They’re the ones finishing the generators and if they’re paying attention, there’s actually a unique sound effect they hear when finishing a compromised generator so they know you have it.
It should be buffed.
Make every kicked generator permanently affected by the perk so you only have to kick each gen once. And if any of those kicked gens get repaired you receive the undetectable and haste.
Very simple buff that allows that makes it be easier to use.
They could remove the kick requirement and just have it automatically proc when a gen is completed, Tinkerer but it procs after the gen is done.
No reason you should have to kick two gens just to activate it.
What is a point of a stealth perk that plays a loud asf sound queue to the survivors when it gets triggered?
So due to that loud synth trigger sound effect you hear, being also heard by all the survivors means that if they are on coms, if they finish the gen and hear it, they immediately call out Machine Learning and the entire perk is made useless because they know you are stealthed.
Fun effect, very impractical to use due to its overly stringent requirements.
Absurd activation requirements.
It's activation requirement is pretty darned ridiculous... but in the same breathe it kinda has to be... 30 seconds of Undetectable and +10% haste (Bloodlust 2) is gross when it fires off... and it can even stack with Bloodlust as well if it procs in chase for maximum Unga Bunga.
I'm not saying it shouldn't be buffed... but you have to be VEEEERY careful when buffing a perk like this.
It's a cool concept like imagine a mapwide deadlock if they do that traped gen
Or a blood favor that's map wide if they do that traped gen
Or exposed to all Survivors
It's a coolconcept but too safe to use in a non gimic build
