is it intentional that wesker cant stop unhooking with his power?
even if you down them the same frame they started unhooking, the unhook still happens. his power just can not stop the unhook animation from completing no matter what.

To be fair Wesker is a very strong killer already, he doesn't need to have his camping ability buffed.

It's not just Wesker. This happens with every killer. I'm not sure, if they ever consciously changed it but it's been this way for quite a while. I can't even remember the last time I was able to prevent an unhook. Even with people rushing to the unhook the millisecond I was done with animation.
It's not that big of a deal though. You aren't supposed to stop unhooks in any way, so you need to focus on everything else. The game still works fine.

i get that and imo its more benifical to wait a bit and slam the unhooker into the unhooked, but its kinda weird that going too early is basically just a punishement for you
