I randomly stop running

Holding LB while sprinting my character just randomly starts walking.

First thought: it is the button being dodgy, so I mapped sprint to LT, the same thing happens.

Second thought: both buttons are dodgy, so I tried a second controller, and the same problem there.

I only have problems with either controller on this game, never on any other game.

Third thought: is there some subtle input bug causing this?

I searched the forums and see multiple topics about people on PC and console randomly stopping running whilst holding sprint, particularly after updates.

Please help, or ideally, just introduce a toggle sprint!

    Could also be an issue with the stick of your controller - or the default dead zone setting of it for DbD which still can’t be changed in-game.

    a toggle would also be very much welcome though!
