DBD On The Steam Deck; How Good Is It?

I personally dont own a Steam Deck, but one of my friends bought one, I gifted them DBD during the Anniversary, and when discussing what games to play for our horror night, we skipped DBD since we really didnt know how well it ran or functioned.

I am aware that DBD had a Switch port, but due to the Switch not really having the best hardware, a lot of people avoid it since it does not run well; and while BHVR have done a lot to try to optimize it, the hardware for the Switch is just unable to keep up. Knowing this, we kind of just assumed it wouldnt run well on the Steam Deck and moved on.

This being the case; does someone with a Steam Deck know how good/bad it is?
