Banners and icons... a bad start
Hello everyone.
Why are the new Chucky banner and icon only available when purchasing a cosmetic? What's the point of getting DLC then? the charm??? because that is not it... The icon and banner are not even from Tiffany or the other Chucky skin, they are literally pictures of the base design.
It seems that you guys added this new feature by force, because there are not even default icons and banners, not even of the first killers and survivors. This is horrible. I expected much more from this new feature. I know they will put more icons and banners in the future, but what a bad way to start.

I think the point of getting the DLC is so you can play as Chucky. Swag is secondary to that.

If this is really how they intended to release the player card feature, with ZERO customization to start with, then this is an utter embarrassment of a rollout. What's the ######### point???

Yes but if I wanted the character only I just would buy them separately for 500 auric cells, without getting anything else.

It doesn't have as many meaningless features as people want it to have on outset?
I'm sure that will change over time and the ability to drop real world money on digital cosmetics will remain intact for many years to come.

It's not about it.
You just not presenting to people an empty sheet of paper and saying: - "Soon it will be a picture on it". You know?
Thats just not the way they should've presented a player cards to their players. I do agree, they kinda ruined the expectations.
What is the point of implementing player cards with just 1 badge and 1 icon? That you HAVE TO BUY with real money? It's pointless, if you ask me.

Launching player cards with nothing included? Really? BHVR could have added some basic content.

Is there even an explanation for how to acquire stuff? I see nothing in game to explain it.

Sure it could have been better but it doesn't, as written by the OP, render the purchasing of the DLC pointless does it. Not unless your chief goal of having the DLC is to get the banners secondary to the DLC content that matters which is the killer.
I'm sure they'll release more banners in time.

this honestly, my friends and I were looking for icons or like maybe some we'd unlocked of old characters, legit none but chucky lmao

We shouldn't be surprised. We couldnt even get p100 badges or banners even tho its been over a year since prestige update.
Like it really takes them a bit too long to come out with anything new upon release. Including new skins for new characters. If it aint making them money, then it will be on the last priority of their list.

They really dropped the ball on this one. At minimum it should have launched with base killers and survivors for free. The fact you have to buy a cosmetic to get it is an awful idea. It should be tied to achievements and events for free. Then have banners and icons in the rift instead of some of these 2D looking charms.
Now at launch the few people who have a banner and icon are of Chucky only. Didn't one of the devs during the stream say that players want to be able to express themselves as unique individuals? Can't do that when everyone is Chucky until the bone chill event and then everyone is winter or Chucky until the next cosmetic tied banner and icon. Very poorly implemented!
Would be nice if at p10, 11, and 12 you get the perk icon and banner like you get a charm of them at P7,8, and 9. I was really looking forward to banners now it's a big disappointment :(

Definitely agree with this. But we all know that takes time and effort. Which is something they dont have when it comes free of charge unfortunately.

I hope the stuff for chucky isn't tied to those two specific costumes/collection. It'd make sense for his future cosmetics to give it too, since they aren't themed around just those two. The paid ones aren't fomo right?

What's the point of adding a feature that has nothing in it? Not even a small handful of really basic options to start with, there's literally nothing. This is pitiful.
