Permanent 8% slowdown with viral infection against Wesker

I ran into an issue in my game where both myself and a teammate were unable to get rid of the slowdown even after using the spray. The teammate was on Epic games store and I play on Steam. Please fix.

Did the status effect remain on you, or did it remove the status but you remained Hindered?
