FttE is his only good perk, and mostly in combination with other perks. this is gonna take forever...

I don't know about that. Chucky is pretty strong on his own. Have you tried release SM, Wraith or Doctor yet? They are way worse.

I've been using Hidey Ho primarily as a chase tool. That might help if anyone else is struggling with his adept. The stealth is utility. Definitely good to have when you want it, but you don't want your power to be on cooldown at the start of every chase.

This is what really changed chucky for me. I will only preemptively pop stealth if I KNOW I will shortly be on a survivor and within range of a slice. Other than that, I save it for antiloop or a follow up attack after an M1.

I did it on my very first game with him using only his perk :D
Tbf I tryharder for sure, didn't play nice at all but that's what you have to do anyway.

I don't understand how scamper is supposed to work as an anti-loop; when they vault and I scamper, they're halfway around the loop again before I'm done scampering.

Try Onis adept. He has the worst perks for a adept. Chuckys adept suffers from lack of Gen control but he has at least 1 good perk to work with. Also try going to the game. The batteries included gets more value on a double story map and he is a pallet strong killer

I had no problem with chucky, think I got it on the 2nd game. The only one I am struggling with is singularity

Wraith's perks do literally fuckall for him in game.

Have you tried Plague before they changed killer adepts?

Plague remains to be one of the killers I don't have adept with. I didn't know they changed adepts though - What did they do?

You needed 4 irri amblems before if i don't remember wrong but her power was makes to get 4 irri so hard. Really hard i mean.
But now, all you need to do is killing 4 survivors. So it's pretty easy now.

Glad OP got it, I was able to get it my forst game, I tend to recommend sending yourself to Haddonfield. The map is small so pretty easy to start applying early pressure, but thats what works for me with so many of my adepts

Yes, actually and I got it on the second try if I remember correctly. I could force them to cleanse by proxy camping someone on a hill, that was already on second stage and Infectious Fright and her addons helped quite a bit. I think that was even before 6.1.0, so Corrupt Intervention didn't deactivate on first down.
Needless to say, I still had to play scummy by refusing to kill them until I was sure I would get the adept. Slugging was a big part of that match...

You don't have to use the vault portion at many tiles because Chucky can slide on everything and also 180 on his swing. If the survivor drops a pallet, I'll start by Slice and Dice on the short side, start the slide one way, and change directions to slide all the way around the long side. You usually have a chance to flick and hit them unless it's an extremely safe tile or they play it absolutely perfect. Save the vaulting/scamper for god windows and god pallets.

My first Adept try was against a french TTV SWF group in Lerys. It was a kinda good game with lots of sneaky downs and crazy chases, but eventually I had them all downed and one Kate 4% off the hook, ruining it all. She ran me all over the map and when I finally hooked her and returned to the last downed survivor, that one bleed out LITERALLY 1s before I could reach them, and I learned the hard way that a bleed out didn't contribute to a Merciless Killer rating. So close, yet so far. It took me a couple of games to finally get the hang of Chucky and adept him and it feels good to be able to use proper builds on him.

The change to the merciless killer rating really helped a lot in this regard, unter the old system, Plagues power actively made it harder for her to gain enough points to earn an Iri emblem in all cathegories. Getting a 4K can be tricky sometimes, but it will eventually happen, while the old system was nuts. It also was night impossible to adept killers once you reached Gold or Iri grades, I remember a couple of night perfect Pyramidhead and Artist matches during that time, but sometimes that one single heal in the corner knocked me out of Iri into "Gold, one nails breadth from Iri" territory and that was pretty frustrating. Meanwhile survivors just had to escape one single, measly match. :D

For me the worst killer to adept was Billy. I had no Shadowborn and I couldn't use his power a lot. I eventually got an easy lobby and had to play M1 killer with map mobility until I would finally get it. Again, this included a loooooooooooot of slugging.

Got it seconds try. Not that hard because the killer is very strong. Don't play the perks. Play the killer.
The hardest for me was bubba. Pure rage...

I got it first try. I don't think he's even a contender for worst. Oni, Wraith, Pig, Freddy etc were harder IMO.

Tbf, Wraith has gotten easier since the removal of Lightburn, plus, he has add-ons that are basically perks.
One that straight up tells him which gens are being worked on.

Yeah, but you still play with 2 addons and basically no perks. Eventually, you will get the 4k but compared to other killers, his adept is significantly harder.

Nurse on console is the hardest adept. Thank god Nintendo Switch doesn't have achievements, I'd actually cry.
I got Chucky on my second attempt. Wasn't too bad. FttE did come in very handy. The most stressful part of adepts is almost always just the last survivor and fighting against the RNG hatch.

Wraith is the worst...blood echo is sorta hit and miss..but tea wraith has the worst adept in the game.

Sometimes you just need to practice with a killer to get a feel for them to get adept. Usually on release I find it easier to get it since survivors are getting used to the killer too. With Chucky I was having a hard time so stopped trying and played with normal perks to remove the frustration. When I felt more confident playing him I got my adept on the first try.
