Minor Singularity Suggestions
I love singularity and he's definitely not the weak killer a lot of people seem to think he is. He doesn't need any massive changes like other people suggest, he's just difficult to pick up, but there are some minor adjustments that I suggest to make him slightly more rewarding:
- EMPs break in the survivors hand when hit with a basic attack.
- QOL on pod placements (some perfectly flat surfaces like walls of Hawkin's don't let you place pods for some reason)
- Time to use an EMP increased to 3.0 seconds (was 2.5) and Lock-On cooldown reduced to 3.0 seconds (was 3.5)
These changes reward an aggressive playstyle without changing the EMP economy in place to mitigate hard 3genning. The first change adds a bit more risk to carrying an EMP and gives the singularity an extra tool to get them out of survivor's hands. The second change helps beginners have a better experience. Once you invest a lot of hours into this killer you learn the best pod placements and things that do and don't work, but learning these aspects is frustrating for beginners similar to unintuitive collision. The third change is the least important, this is just a suggestion if the developers want to make a further changes. This adjustment would encourage survivors to either pre-charge the EMP, react quickly (there is a 1 second window, slightly less with latency), or pre-emptively disable pods instead of sitting with an EMP until the moment they get infected to use it. This change would give the singularity another small change to get an EMP out of a survivor's hand, as they are infinite.

These would be excellent changes.
I do agree with you strongly that people say Singularity is much worse than they actually are. Singularity is just difficult and takes time to learn. However your suggested changes would be very nice QoL changes to make them feel better to play for many.
I do hope BHVR will consider your post.
