Ps4 performance is getting so bad

I hope they have some optimizations or something for the old-generation consoles cause I was playing Nurse, and I can't even see it's so disorientating like I can't see anything. I don't know how to explain it, but it doesn't feel like it used to like it was never this bad, like it feels so.. clunky. and I feel like I can't even see while using my power, even using shadowborn. Like genuinely, it is almost unplayable at this rate, lol, and I'm kind of stuck between either going for PS5 just to play DBD, which idk about or switching to PC without my progress. What should I do?

    I actually hope they drop the old trash consoles, theyre holding everyone back.

    Even on release their hardware was meh. Its ancient now

    PS5 is nice, and you literally keep all your trophy progress and character unlocks.

    Your PS4 games are (almost) all also fully backwards compatible, so that's a nice bonus.

    However PC is the true way to play DBD really.

    To me it feels like the PS4 performance is smoother since the last update.

    Still play on PS4 and PC now.
