Survivor Perk Ideas with New Hook Action
Something like, "after performing the action on a hook, X will happen". The action can be called tamper or something similar. The tamper action is a survivor "tampering" a hook while standing for X seconds at it (I am envisioning the old generator animation where survivors just rubbed their hands on them but in the standing position). I am specifically asking them to have a different stance than the sabotaging stance otherwise survivors can fake like they're sabotaging it, which would be a nightmare for killers. I am including sabotaged hooks because they are in the "sabotaged state" until the hook is regenerated (I don't know if there's a separate in-game difference between a sabotaged hook and a spent hook -- and depending on the perk, you may not want to be able to tamper on a spent hook). When a sabotaged hook is regenerated, it won't remove the applied effect of your perk. Being able to tamper while a hook is in the "sabotaged state" may be removed in testing...?
Some ideas:
- After performing the Tamper action on any hook (be it undamaged, sabotaged or spent), reveal the aura of all exit gates, generators, chests and totems of it within X meters and for X seconds. There is a cooldown for X seconds.
- After performing the Tamper action on a hook or sabotaged hook, the next time a survivor is hooked on it, blind the killer for X seconds. Only 1 hook can be active at a time. There is a cooldown for X seconds once a survivor is hooked.
- After performing the Tamper action on a hook or sabotaged hook, the next time a survivor is unhooked from it by any means, restore them to full health instantly. Only 1 hook can be active at a time. There is a cooldown for X seconds once a survivor is unhooked.
