Chucky actually feels ruined... Please bring back the 180 flicks
I've been playing Chucky for a long while now, and the only reason I felt that Chucky was viable having the insanely long cooldown for his power is the fact that he had so much versatility with it. Now it's worse than blights power, making it as if Chucky gets one of blights rushes, has almost triple the cooldown, and is still a 110 movement speed killer. Any chance that chucky had of being fun is now really gone as those cool tricks that could be done were really the only thing that set him apart from the rest. Now not only is he a lot less fun, he is a lot weaker than before. If this change needs to be kept, at least reduce the power cooldown or something. And make it so it's not in cooldown at the start of the match.
In all my time playing against Chucky I have been able to loop them the very easily, as I know how to play as him very well. Now he just feels awful to play as, and super easy to play against.
I just want old Chucky back.

180 flicks should never exist in a game like DBD. I would be fine with 160 but 180's just aren't fun to go against, especially with the weird hitbox. I also hate how Oni can do it, so it's not just a Chucky issue.
But yeah halving the flicks and not compensating with perhaps a shorter cooldown is a little unnerving considering so much killers are bound to receive tweaks.

The difference between Oni and Chucky is Oni works for it. (Console Oni so I only have 90 degree flicks) But Chucky has his power every 18 seconds...Oni has to sweat it out as a m1 start. Working for a power is the balanced way and why I find Oni the best example of powerful done right. Want speed and instadown and a flick? Earn it

Oni isn't even meant to be able to 180 by the way. There was a bug report about it because a developer (I think) mentioned there's a hard lock at 90 ages ago and the person that reported it even had a screenshot. But yeah, I see your point.

They added the hard lock too console but PC still can go over the 90. But PC can do a lot of things console can't with different killers

Yeah, it's a DPI bug which allows it. PC also are not meant to go over 90. BHVR are probably just treating it like the Blight hugtech bug. Trust me I know, I play on controller ever since I got the game.

Oh, I didn't realize it has been nerfed.
Good to know.
It was the next killer I wanted to buy coming back to the game but I guess I'll skip it.

it´s not a nerf, but a fix

I 100% agree, I only came back to DBD because a new killer with a versatile mobility power came out. anddddd now the fun has been sucked out of it.

Hugtech on Blight is a weird problem. They have to change his base code everytime someone finds a new tec and if they do it wrong they break him a new way.

I hope BHVR realizes that Chucky has been just as a great and fun killer to play and verse like Wesker, and takes proper feedback from people who play him. :)
It would be a shame to lose the fun with him.

Spaghetti code back at it. Hugtech isn't as much of a problem as add-ons so, once those change, I'm sure that the hugtech won't be as impactful. It is weird though how they said it's a bug then went radio silent but oh well.

I personally have 0 troubles with this, i personally think its fair , chucky doesnt need 180 flicks to be a good killer IMO i personally think that bypassing the 180 angle was bug aka exploit , reason why it got fixed.
hes pretty balanced without it. and dont start with the blight argument , hes getting nerfed sooner 100% by a reason.
unless u wanted just to abuse that unintended part of his kit , yeah i guess you can skip chucky; but to me this killer is really fun , strong , fair and easy to pick up which is something i havent said in a long time in terms of new DLCs .

I won't play him anymore. Vaulting pallets and windows until you hopefully get a hit isn't all that fun and neither is hoping the survivor won't see you run around the loop. But his Slice & Dice doesn't work with a 90° turn limit. I thought they only adjusted the max turn during the attack but they changed the whole thing. It feels terrible, sluggish and unresponsible.
They removed any kind of mechanical skill expression that this killer used to have and with it one of the main aspects of what made him fun. I'd rather wait 45 seconds for his power to come back but then offering fun gameplay, then having it ready every 18 seconds and feeling bored to death using it. Because running after a survivor and vaulting pallets and windows until you may or may not get a hit isn't fun. Neither is hoping that the survivor won't hear or see you coming and just get hit.
