If you use main event at the very last moment, it raises up your knife, has the yellow effect around the screen, and reduces sounds but you do not throw knives. You can still attack as well as aim your blades to throw. He also has the same throwing animation bug from the PTB if you use memento blades you will see it on the 18th knife if I counted it correctly
