    Freddy needs buffs but I don't want have to bring survivors into dreamworld to hit them they so easy to wake up.

    Bringing them into the Dream World has other advantages, namely built-in slowdown and aura-reading.

    And I can't really remove a method of waking up. If people stay trapped in the Dream World endlessly, the killer will win every time. There has to be a chance to fight back.

    i understand but time where killers can't atk at all was a little OP on survivor side and I don't think they bring back aura-reading into dreamworld that was what mean him OP or feel OP and he got add on for slowdown,I do think he needs a better power then what he got.

    Don't worry, there are improvements here.

    The Incapacitated effect during the Transition prevents a survivor from finishing a gen or unhooking someone right in front of you, so that time you cannot attack is well spent with mindgames. Besides, skilled Old Freddy's would almost always get a free hit from the transition.

    As for the aura-reading, it is an important aspect of his kit. And if you wake up, it is gone. It isn't difficult to fight against it, I don't think anyone would consider it OP.

    But then again, it is okay if this concept just doesn't work for ya. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

    i give every killer a chance how I know who I like but how slow the dev are maybe a long time before any Freddy changes.

    at this point I how he get some buffs any he still pop up on my daily but his is easy anyways.

    i really miss unlimited wall-hack of his kit. i hope they return that whenever they buff freddy. it was by far his most unique mechanic that no other killer had.

    Agreed.

    It was an interesting concept, and there was plenty you could do with it. I remember my Spooky Freddy build, for instance.

    Rest assured, my concept won't ever get rid of it.

    aura reading, teleportation on generators, pull survivors into the dream world, it would be the best thing to happen to Freddy Krueger, i hope this concept becomes reality.

    Old Freddy has always been my favorite killer, ever since I first started playing DBD all the way back in 2018.

    As I've said, I wanted this concept to fix the issues other Old Freddy mains had with him while keeping the killer unique, viable and fun.

    And it is really good to see that people like this idea!

    Ideas I’ve had for a very long time way before her initial rework. Im prestige 100 with her so I’ve had a lot of time to think about it. 💕

    I played her since release. Was a big fan. I was 4th in the steam leaderboards on her until the dreadful rework. It basicly ruined everything in terms of gameplay for me. So i stopped. Playing her felt depressing. I just wanted to go back to better times. Maybe my wish will now finally come true.

    I was very active on the PTB for her rework and will be again on the upcoming PTB.

    Ergh. Old Freddy was such a drag, to play as and against.

    I know opinions are a fickle thing, but I really can't see how anyone would genuinely want him back. Dull, boring, and he wasn't even strong to make up for it like Pinhead is/was. Unlimited aura reading was just plain unfun to go against as a survivor.

    Reeks heavy of nostalgia glasses to me, which is funny since I've been playing since the game launched all those years ago.

    EDIT: Not that current Freddy is anything special either. He is, rather ironically, a snore.

    Yes, I do remember you from another Old Freddy thread from years ago. I know you don't like him, even with the QoL improvements I've suggested.

    It is alright though, I respect your opinion as long as you respect mine.

    I would like it too.

    The old Freedy before the big rework again but keeping the teleporting power, the addon of all the generators sheeding blood when teleporting basekit, reducing the amount of time needed to pull the survivors into the dream world (it was 7 seconds if I remember correctly) and giving him good addons.

    Edit: Oh... I didn't see you wanted all generators spewing blood as a basekit feature. I think it actually works best for an add-on, but maybe I could reduce the rarity of the add-on, to make it better? Idk, switch my Black Box's effect with something else? It is food for thought.


    Wool Shirt:

    -Slightly decreases Skill Check chances in the Dream World.


    Sheep Block:

    Slightly reduces Dream Transition time.

    -Time to fall asleep is reduced by 0.5 seconds.


    Kid’s Drawing:

    Slightly increases Dream Demon range.


    Garden Rake:

    Slightly increases Movement speed while casting Dream Demon.


    Prototype Claws:

    Moderately increases Movement speed while casting Dream Demon.


    Outdoor Rope:

    While Survivors are in the Dream World:

    Applies a moderate (-6%) Action Speed penalty to Repair, Healing, and Sabotage actions.


    Nancy’s Sketch:

    Moderately increases Dream Demon range


    Green Dress:

    Considerably decreases Skill Check chances in the Dream World.

    Slightly increases Dream Projection charge time.
