Why is false reporting not being dealt with?

Just got reported for abusing the tunnelling bug as a killer.

This type of behaviour happens too frequently. People report for whatever reason they want and because there isn't any feedback that tells you your report is rejected there's players that will actually think there getting somewhere with it. On youtube there's dozens of videos that expose twitch streamers who report damn near every player they play with and nothing happens to them.

More importantly, don't these false reports just waste support staff time? Loads of games i play punish false reports for this exact reason. Because it's delaying the actioning of people that are actually breaking the rules.

As far as i know it doesn't happen in this game. I don't see any official text that says so and i've never heard of anyone being punished for it.

    Idk. Something should be done about false reporting about tunneling and camping and slugging and teabagging and looping.

    But for cheat issue, that might be due to the possibility because the reporter might misunderstand something.

    I'm pretty sure if you frequently make false reports you just get spam-filtered. If someone is the type to proudly announce that they've reported you for any of the things explicitly stated on the report form to be non-reportable, they're probably already on the ignore list.
