Why are Generator Aura colors different?
I have always seen the generators aura as red while playing killer, but tonight most are orange. What's up with that?
In this game, the aura of the generator to my left is Red while the one in the middle and the one on the right are orange.

Yellow ones are event generators, they give a LOT more bps for survivors

During events, such as Anniversary and Bone Chill, gerenator and hook auras receive a different colour, mostly because they are now special event props that award additional bloodpoints.
However, there currently is a bug that only makes indoor gens orange whereas it should be all of them.

Oh right! That explains why the shack gen on Erie was yellow while all the other gens I could see were red (main might have been yellow too but the survivors completed that one pretty quickly).
It really confused me to see a single yellow gen at the start of the game for no obvious reason.

Yea, it's kind of weird. In the past only some generators and hooks were event enabled but then they made it so all generators and hooks count as event ones, but the code to change the color of those certain generators seems to have been left in.
