So Knight will be unavailable until next year? .... Right? :(
Knight has been disabled due to a bug. Ok, this can happen. But being Killswitched right before the holidays its so sad.
This is the only time of the year when i can play DBD for a long time (its my vacations), and its so sad.
Hope you guys can fix it before the end of the year or the holiday break.

They disabled Nurse for a whole month I belive because there was no longer any hot fix patch coming up and we had to wait for PTB and then Live update.
Probably same will happend with this unless the final hot fix will contain it but its bit unlikely since it is pretty recent and patches are planned ahead.

They said on the killswitch list he is unlikely to return before the next update since the holidays are coming up.
So yeah he is likely gone until the midchapter which, if prior years’ release schedules after Christmas are any indicator, is presumably sometime at the end of January.

I remember that Wesker had a bug right at the start of last anniversary event that lead to him being kill switched and Wesker mains were up in arms "Ugh, that means he won't be around to farm cakes/flans/terrormizus with? That can't be real!!" and BHVR actually fixed him in like 4 days or something. But that wasn't during the big winter holliday layoff, so anything goes, I guess.

Last year it was broken servers for two weeks during the holidays so it was more or less a 50/50 chance that the game would be completely unplayable due to rubber banding lag. It's bad news for Knight players but better than a game breaking exploit being left untouched for two weeks until the holidays are over.

Agreed. Knight is my first pick, not fave tho. They're nerfing him because he's fun. It's so nice not having to chase them all down. I couldn't play him on Christmas😭

Hopefully they take the time during this bugfix to also fix up his guards' pathing and his other bugs and jank that makes him feel really awkward to play. I doubt it, but i can hope.
