My favorite map in the game. I only noticed a difference upstairs, the treasure chest spawning in a different room.

Somehow they heard people say: "You want that garden of joy window nerfed? No problem, we went ahead and changed the upstairs window"
When people were talking about the OTHER window.

Personally I’ve never been a fan of it on either sides
I swear it’s the only map where I can accidentally end up near the edges of that map during a chase and die lol

Might be bit better than before(at least truck in front of the main removed), but still terrible map.

nothing change really.
one side have shack, two jungle gyms, and the parking lot loop. all containing a strong window/pallet and still it more reasonable to chase there over the main building side.

Doesn't deserve to be called a rework, it's still just as awful as ever. Even worse in some cases.

They changed practically nothing, still a miserable map to play on. Luckily I never get it though. Whenever I'm sent there via offering my wifi router mysteriously bursts into flames, thus shutting off my internet and disconnecting me from the match. Very strange.

Very slight changes do not = rework.

It's the worst rework yet. The main building is still just as busted as before and some of the filler loops got even stronger.
I would go as far to say that it only got worse.

As many already stated, nothing has really changed. The awful aspects of the map are still there.

There spawned a giant statue of Dwight in the middle of the parking lot.
He's working just like the statues on yamaoka, always looking at you.
His purpose is to taunt the killer that they had the misfortune of landing on this map.

I don't know, tbh. Garden of Joy is one of those newer maps, and I usually try to avoid those.
From what I've seen, however, it is a very bad map. Both aesthetically and for gameplay reasons. If there was a recent change, it doesn't seem to have had much of an effect.

This is the best map in the game! The only thing that can ruin it is The Pig scaring Survivors by using stealth and growing.

I really hate this name. Garden of Joy? What is so enjoyable about a big building with god windows? There is no skill involved going upstairs and be completely immune unless you play only Nurse.

Still one of the standout imbalanced maps, decently big with some decent loops all around. But the biggest offender is that main building, with the god window and pallet etc and it being quite accessible to. Really should have just closed the window or something I do not know why they even spent any time on it since it is basically the same.

For me rework means a sort of overhaul. The changes they made are so subtle that they are barely noticeable. I still struggle with chases as a killer in the main building.

That's part of the joke, but yes. The entire building needs to be redesigned. Personally i think the worst offender is the dining room one though. Its unmindgameable and you must entity block it to catch them, outside of like a nurse or maybe a huntress hatcheT if the survivor is slow. Then after that, they are dropped right next to 2 god pallets. So if you want to down them there, you need to entity block it, break a god pallet, entity block it, break a god pallet, entity block it THEN you can land THE FIRST HIT. By then you lost the game.

Only change I've noticed is the near-useless breakable wall upstairs is now pre-broken. Pointless change though, the survivor still has plenty of time to just vault.

No, it is sincerely my favorite map. I love it in either role.
No problem getting a 4k on that map for me as Freddy or Myers and I love the house and sky.
The sky especially is gorgeous! It's the most beautiful map.
The overall size is nothing shy of perfect for a 12 to 15 minute match as opposed to an hour long Gideon or Midwitch map.

True, but the dining room window is easily the worst. Or best, if you're playing surv. And it is just as strong as ever.
The others are strong, but not what I would call god windows (maybe the one in the upstairs gen room). And the one in the back upstairs with the chest is manageable, and is now sometimes closed off by a breakable wall.
But man, that dining room is big distance guaranteed unless you're a potato.
As killer, it's still pretty miserable.

I like the aesthetics on the map for sure. But in terms of gameplay I tend to struggle. The main building in particular is still very strong and wastes a ton of my time to even get a hit as an m1.
I found Gideon to be a rather fun map if you can play around it's gigantic flaws in game design. Maybe I have to do that with Garden of Joy as well...

I hate the rework. Especially on survivor for two reasons: Mainbuilding is still busted af (#########) and now the new tiles are just dumb. They don't make sense, they are completely new and are not fun to loop imo. Its still big with a huge overpowered mainbuilding but now with dumb tiles that will probably confuse both sides. Great.

They've put an appalling pointless jungle gym by the main building. Three walls all running parallel to each other. No vaults. No pallets. Wut? Main house has had no meaningfuk change for either side.

I think it's better now still bit survivor sided but that's fine as most maps are becoming killer sided where soloQ players has no chance.

There's still pallets everywhere and the main building still is braindead. Almost nothing changed.
