Xenomorph tunnel entrances not spawning correctly since Holiday Event update

I play through the Xbox app on PC. Ever since the Holiday Event update the Xeno's tunnel entrances have been spawning in strange and seemingly almost random locations. This occurs on virtually every map and match that I've played since the event started. The map will occasionally spawn 2-3 of the tunnels closer to Gens. However, more often than not they are spawning in places that make the Xeno's power ineffective/useless. A running theory I've discussed with some others is that it might have something to do with the Snowmen and Snowpile spawns. Any feedback on this would be great!
