Why is the game broken?

Me and my friend enjoy playing the game together as a duo but since the last update after every single game he has to fully shut down the game and restart it. He keeps getting grade progression error after every game too. Please can you or someone explain why??


Also I'm xbox and he's Playstation.

    Game has always had a terrible party system that barely functions, it is a pain to play with friends.
