What’s the point of wasting time?
Playing Killer, you’ll oftentimes get someone randomly clicking their flashlight instead of doing a gen during another chase and following us to try a flashlight save or just trying to get the killers attention when they’re clearly in a great position to down another survivor? It’s just wasting time and reassuring the Killer you’re doing nothing productive.
Playing Survivor, you’ll sometimes get a Killer that wants to slug and let everyone bleed out, or just stand over a survivor doing random things instead of picking them up and moving onto the next game? And why just hide throughout the match knowing it’s a lost game?
I mean you can grab a sandwich or DC the game to move on the next match sooner, but the fact is that some games are severely time consuming because of the killers or survivors are doing certain things that make it last insanely longer more than it should.

Had this ridiculously long game yesterday. Had the same scratch mirror Myers with Midwich offering for *3* games in a row. I used a different survivor in each game, on anonymous mode, but all with Boons Circle of Healing and Shadow Step. Third game he must have realised it was me again ruining his fun with Shadow Step, so he was gunning only for me (understandable tbh). But despite him hitting and leaving my team mates in his quest to kill me (they had my CoH to fix that), they were all too scared to touch gens! He didn't even chase them. Even with Shadow Step hiding their auras the only gen that got done was by me. And they werent new players either. Once I was gone, and my boons with me, it was a blood bath. I didn't want to ruin this Myers day a 4th time so shut the game down.

Some of them want to show off their looping skills or they are doing a challenge.
But as you said they can go down and I hate those in particular that get offended by this so they immediately do the sacrifice on hook.

I can only assume it's people being spiteful. I honestly just find it sad that some people have so little respect for their own time that they waste it just to occupy others.
