Perhaps you've encountered the situation where, before making a purchase of an item (head/torso/legs), you wanted to see how it looks with other items in the store, but couldn't because you needed to buy them first. This is where custom purchases come in handy. With a custom purchase, you can create your own outfit and instantly buy it, rather than having to make separate payments for each item. It's a small feature that can make life easier for players. I understand, developers put effort into the outfits they release., but players still buy what they want and mix this, so why not?
