Game matches lag too much

The game is lagging too much, like pulling a rubber band, when walking or running the characters appear to be moving on a pendulum a back and forth like tensing and releasing a rubber band. I'm not sure if this is by design or incidental, but it's frustrating, and it makes me nauseous and dizzy, so, I will have to stop playing until the issue is fixed.
