I don't see why you want to remove this, currently if you equip shadowborn you get a higher fov and a survivor can blind you from a bigger angle than with base fov. With the introduction of the fov slider, i feel like this mechanic should be kept.
Having a greater fov is usually an advantage in games but here i feel like it would definitely be fine if you also have the downside of getting blinded from a greater angle.
