new 5% regression visual indicator
Since you need to repair the gen 5% to stop the gen regressing, I feel like having a visual indicator similar to brand new part would be a good idea, which shows you when you can get off the gen safely without it regressing.
This would be helpful because as a survivor it would prevent some awkward situations were u just want to repair the gen 5% when the killer is nearby to stop regression.
This would prevent situations getting off a gen 1 second to early for example, as a QOL update.

This sounds like a nice thing to have, I don't think they will add it as part of this update though

So you basically want to repair for the minimum amount of time, then run off to hide, and if the killer kicks the gen, you’ll just repeat this until the generator is damage immune?

So bottom line: easy way to precisely know the minimum repair to do before running away, forcing the Killer to use one of his 8 "regression event" (if the Killer even has all 8 on that gen by the time the Survivors 3-genned themselves) rinse & repeat until the Killer can't do anything?
This whole system is already completely unsuitable and ill-thought-out, if it doesn't get reppelled like the poisonous basekit Unbreakable then at least let's not make it even worse for slow M1 Killers (ya know, the ones who are the most affected since they have to patrol longer and have longer chases?).

There will be a visual indicator - on the gen progress bar there will be a "line" (for want of a better term) to show when the 5% is reached.
