It's a great camping tool, granting free extra time, plus it works with DMS, and it even serves as a handy-dandy indicator for the AFC!

    Just like we wanted! /s

Yeah I'll use it. Sounds fun and functional. Don't know if it'll be meta but it'll definitely be useful.

It will only work if the survivor you hooked is still alive, otherwise you risk to get in scenarios where all survivor hide and you cant kick any gen.

Yes, I think it will. One hook=12 seconds of 3 people not doing gens= potentially 36 seconds of gen time=40% gen progress, already surpassing pain res.

This only applies to the effect that happens if all survivors get hooked though, you get the 12 seconds of all gens blocked after each unique hook

I agree this is the probably the best incentive to not tunnel we've ever gotten. Better than old barbecue in my opinion.

I won't use it. I don't like the idea of blocking all gens for 12 seconds each time I hook a different survivor. It's strong but I don't like it. Worse yet, it has a synergy with DMS, that is quite overtuned.

Old BBQ never was a reason for me to be fair :)

I was hardcore tunneler when it had stacks, because i wanted kills more than bloodpoints, even consider i was pretty green in the game.

I think the synergy with DMS needs to be addressed i don't think it's fair personally

this perk will do great for me as i already dont tunnel so its just bonus points

I think it is obvious that the Perk will be Meta.

Activation on first hook is very good. I think this, Corrupt and DeadLock will be new meta. This combo lacked the perk to block gens on first hook and voila, now we have it.

Btw I love the removal of gen tapping.

And yes, I used to be Billy main, I will definitely use this perk now that I'm coming back. Doesn't sound too broken on majority of Killers, but on Billy and Blight it sounds super good. I suspect that Deadman's switch will still be better for fast killers, but overall I think it will be very strong.

It’s certainly going to be obnoxious to face. Maybe not OP per se, but definitely obnoxious.

If it has any synergy with Pain Res then its going to be everywhere. If not I don’t see it replacing any of the common slowdown perks. Maybe deadlock, but most people aren’t running deadlock with pop and pain res so it should be manageable.

I can definitely see it being Meta but I doubt it’ll be much of a issue, since it blocks gens there’s no synergy with PGTW unless you’re lucky with hook spawns by gens

Could be a pain (ha) with Pain Res but I’d still take that over some of the more obnoxious slowdown metas we’ve had

It's a fine perk that rewards killer for going after different survivors.

In it's current state it's quite fine, especially since it won't impact Regression Events.

I believe Ruin and Gen Blockers will become the new meta load-out for most killers. Of course killers who can make chases short and kill survivors quickly will be unaffected by event regression system so nothing does change for those.

I frequently play a hit and run style which might lessen the impact. Grim Embrace and DMS are most powerful if the survivors don't have anything else useful to do. If survivors are injured they just use the grim embrace time to heal. But if all the survivors are healthy I can see how powerful the slow down will be.

It’s going to be a proxy camper’s dream. Hook first person, stand 16 meters away to block all gens, pair with dms to increase the time further, add dead lock in case a gen does get done and of course pain res for the regression (and corrupt for the early game). All this will happen and the person will already almost be to second stage while nothing can be worked on. It’s gonna be awesome!

Nothing beats Old BBQ, in my opinion.

But Grim Embrace is definitely going up to the meta. Not sure if I even have this perk, I gotta check that first.

I'm already seeing more gen blocking perks in my Survivor games, so probably.

I won't be switching up any of my builds until I know whether or not the 8 event regression limit will actually have an impact in any of my games. I do tend to find myself in 3 gen situations a lot (Survivors fault, not mine!) so it might, but I guess I'll see. I'm not a high MMR Killer though, so with the 5% kicking buff and no gen tapping, I think my two main regression perks will still be viable (Surge/Call of Brine).
